It's easy to find your cottage here, as they are painted in an array of Crayola colors. Immaculately kept, this place has the feel of your college chum's beach house. Inside you'll find soothing West Indies-type furnishings and kitschy-cool, 1950s-era tile in the bathrooms. Welcoming as the rooms may be, you didn't come to the Keys to sit indoors: there's a luscious expanse of white sand awaiting, and you can catch ocean breezes from either your balcony, a comfy Adirondack chair, or a picnic table perched in the sand. There's a fishing pier and boat ramp to accommodate anglers. Pros: colorful; attention to detail; laid-back charm. Cons: noise from the highway; beach is better for fishing than swimming.
