Fodor's Review

With a hard-to-miss giant ball perched on top of its 20-story round tower, this hotel on the north end of International Drive is visible for blocks, and has a contemporary atmosphere, thanks to the clean, airy design of the lobby and guest rooms. In a clear bid for tech-savvy guests, the "living room" portion of the lobby has a big-screen TV and free computer workstations, and there's Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a bar with big-screen TV, as well as a hot tub and cabanas

in the pool area. Rooms feature large flat-screen TVs, down duvets, and fridge.

It could be better!

3rd stay at this hotel (01-08 March 2006)! Rooms: we had a room at the 21st floor! The view is great and you don't need anymore TV. Bose radio/cd! Equippment is ok for this category of hotel. Atmosphere: nice and relax Service: front desk, cleaning lady are well doing, but the staff at the lounge/restaurant needs a serious "kick of motivation". Value: ok for this category of hotel! P.S. The so-called "lounge" at the 20th floor is a joke and forget

about the offered breakfast! The staff is watching TV and has the expression "please do not disturb"! The hotel could be much, much better if the quality management would check for the details. I don't know if we'll be back at this place in 2007!

Very Impressed

Stayed at this hotel in 2004 and was absolutely thrilled with everything. The rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend it to family and friends.

Wonderful suprise

This hotel has been a long time and even though I have been in Orlando numerious times I have never stayed at this one before. The owners of this hotel are the same as the Westin Grand Bohemian, the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and they have done an amazing job with this landmark hotel. The hotel is fun with a retro hollywood theme, that isnt overdone but is pulled of perfectly. The rooms are fun without being disney tacky, extreemly comfortable

and functional with fantastic views. The staff, just like at the westin, are 1st class and everyone gives it their all when you stay there. I was very suprised with my stay at this hotel and sold on it in 5 minutes. If you are staying the area you have to stay here, dont let the old appearance of the hotel throw you off, it is a real suprise that you will love.
