Getting Here and Around

American Airlines and Delta have regular service to Daytona Beach International Airport, which is next to Daytona International Speedway on International Speedway Boulevard, an east–west artery that stretches from Interstate 95 to the beaches. The average drive time from the airport to beachside hotels is 20 minutes; multiple taxi and ride-share services make the trip for $20–$40.

Groome Transportation has scheduled service ($36 one-way, $67 round-trip) connecting Daytona Beach, DeLand, Deltona, and the Orlando International Airport, which serves more airlines and has more direct flights but is about a 70-mile commute via Interstate 4 and State Road 417 (allow at least 90 minutes).

Daytona Beach has an excellent bus network, Votran ($1.75), which serves the beach area, airport, shopping malls, and major arteries, including service to DeLand and New Smyrna Beach and the DeBary SunRail station, where passengers can connect to various Orlando area locales.
