Cruise Travel to Jacksonville

Limited in the sizes of ships it can berth, JAXPORT currently serves as home port to the Carnival Fascination, which departs weekly on four- and five-night cruises to Key West and the Bahamas during the fall and winter cruising seasons, with occasional week-long sailings to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. The facility is fairly sparse, consisting basically of some vending machines and restrooms, but the embarkation staff receives high marks. The terminal itself is a temporary structure; a permanent cruise terminal has been under consideration for some time, but its fate is uncertain at this writing.

JAXPORT is about 15 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport. Take I–95 South to S.R. 9-A East. Follow 9-A to Heckscher Drive (S.R. 105) west until you reach August Drive. Head south on August Drive, and follow the signs to the cruise terminal.
