Unless you're planning some serious hiking, the only way to reach this sky-high eatery is via the gondola that connects Telluride with the Mountain Village. The view is understandably awesome, as are the meals. In the airy, stone-walled dining room, you'll find a locally inspired menu with offerings such as sweet-and-sour stone-fruit-glazed Colorado lamb and bourbon-marinated elk short loin. Even if your wallet isn't ready for a full-dinner splurge, you owe it to your eyes to soak in the views over a drink and truffle fries in the bar.
