Fodor's Review

Descending 1,000 feet, the Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine Tour tours a mine that operated continuously from 1892 to 1961. The tours are fascinating, sometimes led by a former miner, and definitely not for the claustrophobic. Tours depart about every 30 minutes. On-site, the Hard Rock Diner serves burgers and light fare.
