With all the glitzy amenities, the rooms are surprisingly understated with comfortable furnishings that are often influenced by the hotel's natural surroundings. Bathrooms include both rain showers and marble bathtubs. By virtue of being in the heart of Sand Hill Road’s venture capitalist office zone, the general hotel area can feel like a millionaire’s playground. This often is the Bay Area’s most expensive hotel, but if you can afford a splurge, it really is quite the special place.
