Across Battery Street from the Embarcadero Center complex, this hotel attracts both leisure and business visitors with chic ambience and international style. Australian lacewood paneling, polished granite sinks, stylish contemporary furniture, and fresh flowers outfit the spacious guest rooms. The in-room safes have interior outlets for recharging laptops and cell phones. The recently spruced up Park Grill serves excellent, high-end Californian cuisine (breakfast and lunch), and the popular Bar 333 off the lobby offers a fanciful menu of California-style haute cuisine and an extensive list of wines and other libations. At this writing, the lobby was being given a brand-new look.
