Jackson Court

2198 Jackson St., San Francisco, California, 94115, United States

At this B&B and time share in a converted 1900 brownstone mansion on a tony residential block, light, spacious rooms, some with fireplaces and window seats, blend antiques with contemporary furnishings and fresh flowers. An unusual hand-carved fireplace with gentle faces (said to depict the original owners) is the centerpiece of the parlor, where afternoon tea and cookies are served. The adjacent wood-panel game room is stocked with local information, books, and games. Free Continental breakfast served in the upstairs breakfast room can also be taken on trays back to your room or downstairs to the parlor. In 2013 the hotel refreshed the lobby and rooms with new carpets, wallpaper, paint, bedding, and flat-screen TVs.
