Fodor's Review

The Downtown Disney District is a 20-acre promenade of dining, shopping, and entertainment that connects the resort's hotels and theme parks. At Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen you can dig into New Orleans–style food and music. Sports fans gravitate to ESPN Zone, which serves American food from the grill, and lets visitors play video games or watch worldwide sports events telecast through 120 HDTVs. An AMC multiplex movie theater with stadium-style seating plays the latest blockbusters and, naturally, a couple of kid flicks. Shops sell everything from Disney goods to antique jewelry—don't miss Disney Vault 28, a hip boutique that sells designer-made Disney wear and couture clothing and accessories. At the mega-sized Lego Store there are hands-on demonstrations and space to play with the latest Lego creations. Anna & Elsa's Store speedily makes over kids into their favorite character from the hit film Frozen. Parking is a deal: the first two hours are free, our four hours with validation. All visitors must pass through a security checkpoint and metal detectors before entering.
