4 Best Shopping in The Kenai Peninsula and Southcentral Alaska, Alaska

Coldwater Lodge & Market

Located just as you enter town, this is Hope's only option for basic and essential groceries, liquor, propane, and firewood. There's also a small laundromat and an information desk for guided Kenai River trips.

Ranting Raven

The shelves at this gallery and art shop are packed with local artwork, Alaska Native crafts and jewelry, and ravens—lots of them, including a couple of murals that adorn the side exterior.

Resurrect Art Coffeehouse

A gorgeous coffeehouse and gallery–gift shop, Resurrect is located inside a 1932 church—the ambience and the views from the old choir loft are reason enough to stop by. This is a good place to get great coffee, enjoy fresh pastries, and find Alaskan gifts—many of them made by local artists and craftspeople, so they aren't mass-produced.
