The Tides, Petersburg's largest hotel, is a block uphill from the town's main thoroughfare. Rooms have comfortable, but timeworn furnishings; some have kitchenettes. Rooms in the newer wing—nicer than the motel-style rooms in the old wing—have views of the boat harbor. The coffee is always on in the lobby, and in the morning there are complimentary juices, muffins, and pastries.
