Auberge du Vieux-Port Review

With freshly renovated bathrooms, stone and brick walls, brass beds, wood floors and exposed beams, this auberge is a magnet for romantics. Eighteen new rooms were just added; nine of these face the river. Casement windows overlook either fashionable rue St-Paul or the Vieux-Port, and on warm summer nights you can sip white wine on the rooftop terrace and watch the fireworks competitions. A full breakfast is served in the stone-lined cellar, while the hotel's chic new lounge is on the main floor.
