Trattoria della Nonna
Trattoria della Nonna Review
The South Shore's only authentic Italian eatery, this tri-level spot calls to mind the kitchen of an Italian grandmother (nonna) in part because it gets crowded and convivial—some might say noisy, especially in the basement cantina. The decor is welcoming and the food always delicious. The menu leans heavily toward traditional dishes (wood-fired pizza, homemade ravioli, and osso buco) but local veggies and fresh-caught seafood ensures that the dining experience retains a Nova Scotian flavor.
