This 1860 B&B has cozy rooms, many of which are equipped with a two-person whirlpool tub and/or a propane fireplace. After a sustaining two-course breakfast (think yogurt parfait with homemade granola, followed by Canadian bacon and free-range eggs), the owner may suggest day trips to nearby Blomidon Provincial Park and Cape Split for hiking or to the 183-meter (600-foot) -high Lookoff, which affords sweeping views of five counties.
