Golf

Fundy National Park Golf Club. This is one of the province's most beautiful and challenging 9-hole courses, near cliffs overlooking the restless Bay of Fundy. Designed by course architect Stanley Thompson, it has some interesting hazards—the 6th green is particularly tricky—and quite taxing elevations (but carts are available), not to mention the distraction of the wonderful views. Fundy National Park, near Alma entrance, Alma, New Brunswick, E0A 1B4. 506/887–2970; www.pc.gc.ca/en/pn-np/nb/fundy/activ/golf. C$16–C$19 for 9 holes; daily rate C$28–C$34. Closed early Oct.–mid-May.
