God's Mountain Estate Review

Filled with intriguing nooks and crannies, this quirky Mediterranean-style villa has a gorgeous white-washed exterior and sits on 115 rambling acres overlooking Skaha Lake. The spacious common rooms are crammed with an eclectic mix of antiques, plush cushions, and theatrical props, and you are free to use the large communal kitchen. Of the three guest rooms, the Roofless Room is the most fun: the four-poster bed is sheltered under a canopy, but the rest of the room, including a fireplace and private hot tub, is open to the stars. On most Sunday and Thursday evenings in July and August, the inn hosts an elaborate four-course dinner in the vineyard (C$95). Reservations are essential.
