Bow Valley Parkway Review

Formerly known as Highway 1A, this scenic drive between Banff and Lake Louise leads to Hillsdale Meadows, Johnston Canyon, Castle Mountain, and Baker Creek. There are plenty of viewpoints and picnic sites along the way.

    A must do in Banff

This is a great scenic drive, I would definitely recommend it. Its appox 58 Kms - Rich in history, neat interpretive panels all along. It has diverse ecosystems. Your best chance to view wildlife is here. If you have enough time - a hike to Jhonston Canyon will make the drive worthwhile.
