Dearborn Inn-A Marriott Hotel

$$$-$$$$, Dearborn

User Rating: ***** 4.6

Fodor's Review:

Henry Ford built this hotel in 1931 to house foreign dignitaries and such inventors as Thomas Edison and Charles Lindbergh. The colonial-inspired property is across from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village; adjacent to the main building are five historic homes associated with such famous Americans as Patrick Henry, Edgar Allan Poe, and Walt Whitman.

A beautiful property!

We stayed at Dearborn Inn during June, 2006 and it suited us perfectly. Our room overlooked the beautiful rear grounds and the room was tastefully decorated and clean. The restaurant for breakfast was very nice with booths and tables and the evening dining room was well appointed and the food delicious!
