This hilltop resort, with its trademark double-dome design, takes luxury to almost excessive heights. Each suite has white leather furniture, stained concrete floors, exquisite handwoven tapestries, a hot tub, and a terrace with an ocean view. Eight corner suites have plunge pools, and a few are equipped with telescopes for dolphin- and stargazing. Golf carts take you to and from the beach, which is a long walk from the hotel.

Great hotel! Rooms are large, clean, comfortable and most have great views of the bay. Pool is incredible with usually only 4 or 5 people lounging around it. Hammocks on the terrace are a definite plus. Service is a little slow and inaccurate but you're in a sleepy town in Mexico so you should be able to adapt to this - it won't kill you. If this hotel was in the Caribbean, it would cost 5 times as much. Restaurant is excellent for dinner.
