An impressive archway leads you to the Santa Fe, a hotel that feels more like a small village. A cluster of colonial-style buildings in pastel shades is surrounded by well-tended gardens filled with brilliant red hibiscus. You can catch a glimpse of the surf from the balcony of your room or bungalow. The restaurant ($-$$), known for its vegetarian food, is a great spot to sip a beer and watch the sun set. Pros: Good restaurant, pretty pool, excellent location. Cons: Standard rooms are pricey, some areas need updating, staff not that helpful.
