Cheap and cheerful are the bywords at this well-loved place, with the emphasis on cheap. Since the early 1970s this combination hotel and restaurant has been hosting travelers with authentic Mexican hospitality, and the place, though pleasant enough, is showing its age. Small, simple rooms have private baths, but can get musty in the heat; request one with air-conditioning. The outdoor restaurant specializes in fresh fish, and there's a Sunday breakfast buffet.
