Ibis Cancún Centro Review

Within walking distance of Las Américas Shopping Center, this hotel is perfect for mixing business with pleasure at a very reasonable price. Rooms are modern yet cozy, with hardwood floors, plasma TVs, free Internet, comfy duvets, and either city or lagoon views. Rooms on the 7th and 8th floors are best. Despite its location, this chain hotel is surprisingly quiet. Rates are about one-fourth what you might pay in Hotel Zone, so expect budget shortcuts like shampoo dispensers (rather than bottles) and showers rather than bathtubs. There is free underground parking and a team of security guards to keep watch. A full buffet breakfast is offered between 6:30 am and 10 am. Those with the midnight munchies can take advantage of the restaurant, open 24 hours a day.
