Fodor's Review

Sit around the teppanyaki tables and watch the utensils fly as the showmen chefs here prepare steaks, seafood, and vegetables. The menu includes Japanese specialties such as futo-maki (large sushi rolls) and panfried sea bass. The sushi, tempura, grilled salmon, and beef teriyaki are all feasts fit for a shogun. For added flavor, several dishes are infused with sake or braised with Sapporo beer, like the oriental short ribs served with crispy onions. Unlike most restaurants in Cancún, however, there's no outdoor seating or scenic view. If you're looking for a quiet, romantic meal, consider going elsewhere—this is a lively place that's popular with families.
