As soon as you walk down the dramatic entrance staircase, you know you're in for a memorable experience. The circular dining room has artistic lighting and views of the wine cellar and open-air kitchen. The gamberetti al aglio (sautéed shrimp with garlic) appetizer is a standout, as are the tagliatelle in truffle sauce and seafood risotto entrées. Other memorable dishes include the sea bass baked in wax paper and the braised veal with prosciutto and wild mushrooms. The service here is impeccable, and saxophone music adds a dash of romance. A private dining area can hold up to 14 guests.

Here for Christmas Eve dinner. There were no special menus so we ordered a la carte. The Sea Bass was nicely presented; lobster tail with black ink pasta was significantly overdone - very disappointing. The service, however, was fantastic. Not sure we'd go again.
