Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort Review

This breathtaking resort has its own nook at the end of West Bay. Three-story complexes painted peach and mango bookend the narrow lap pool and tropical garden landscaping. One- and two-bedroom suites come in dimensions labeled deluxe, premium, junior, and master, and a three-bedroom penthouse is great for large groups. The upscale apartments have spacious interiors and kitchens, plus balconies overlooking the sparkling ocean. The resort can also arrange scuba, snorkeling, fishing and sailing trips, and the on-site spa offers the ultimate indulgence.

    Infinitiy Bay - January 2013

I just had to start out by commenting on the 'Cons' shown on Fodors Infinity Bay intro page. The 'Towering apartment like buildings" are 3 stories tall and blend in with the surroundings quite well and are very attractive. Find a picture and judge for yourself. My wife and I stayed at Infinity Bay in mid January 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Check in went well considering there were a lot of people arriving at once. Our room wasn’t ready right away so we took off to explore the grounds and about 10 minutes later as we were passing through the lobby to hit the buffet for lunch, the woman on the desk saw us and called us over to give us our room keys. We had room 1203 which is located on the second floor and only steps from the beach. It had a full kitchen (with an ice cube dispenser on the fridge – and no worries about the water), dining room and living room with 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. Awesome! Food at Infinity Bay was always first class. The buffet is smaller than we are used to and a couple of times we had to wait briefly while dishes were re filled, but the quality of the meals and the service was always outstanding. The beach was also a real highlight of the trip. While it can get busy, we never found ourselves over run. And like everyone else says, the snorkeling was awesome. It is 100 feet from the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world so pack your snorkel gear and try it! It's quiet around the resort at night but there is nightlife down the beach or 10 minutes away by taxi in West End. Definitely worth a look and the money - we aim to go back again in 2014!
