Upscale interiors and a secluded courtyard pool make this hotel the best bet for high-end comfort in the port town. Double rooms with queen-size beds are decorated with warm colors and rich wood furniture. First floor rooms open up to the courtyard, and second- and third-floor rooms have balconies overlooking the beach. The hotel has two restaurants: La Ola, an indoor diner with big cushiony booths, and El Sol, an outdoor deck surrounded by palm trees. Both eateries have large bars and serve traditional seafood dishes. The customer favorite, the steak hondureño, comes topped with an egg, beans, plantain, avocado, and tortilla.
