Fodor's Review:

Italian and Asian dominate at one of Guatemala City's best restaurants, Tamarindos serves up innovative, decidedly eclectic fare ranging from duck in tamarind sauce to Thai-style curries. Curlicue lamps and whimsical sofas that seem straight out of Alice in Wonderland bring a bit of postmodernism to an old city. It's an exhilarating destination for dinner, but the reasonably priced menu also makes this an excellent choice for lunch. The excellent wine list includes choices from around the globe.
