Nayara Hotel & Spa Review

Expansive grounds are scattered with freestanding casitas, all with balcony views of the volcano, tastefully decorated with dark-wood furnishings, and equipped with luxurious touches that include two showers—one indoor and one outdoor. Four-post canopy beds, plasma TVs, DVD players, whirlpool tubs, and other amenities are rarely seen in Costa Rica, making this lovely inn the ideal resting place for pampered travelers.

    Nayara Review

    The NAYARA hotel was fantastic – and despite a few minor downsides (including one daytrip reservation snafu and construction going on above our villa all day which was noisy) could be one of the nicest places we’ve EVER stayed.

    The hotel grounds were gorgeous with friendly staff and lots of amenities including free long-distance phone calls from the lobby and a pool with swim-up bar. The absolutely luxurious room was housed in its own circular “hut” with a gigantic bathroom including both an indoor and outdoor shower. The deck outside also had a Jacuzzi. The view of the volcano was stunning.

    For the price we paid I thought we really got a lot for the money. We ate paella at the hotel restaurant our first night which was bedecked with hanging lanterns and visited by the hotel’s two squawking macaws. It was a lovely stay.

    Arenal Nayara Review

    Just returned from a wonderful, if short, week in Costa Rica. We've visited LaFortuna 2 times before, but this time had the fortune to stay at the Arenal Nayara. Absolutely everything about this hotel was very lush and wonderful - it was expensive, but if you are looking for a place to feel like you are getting a big splurge for a modest investment, this is it. A view of the volcano from the bed and patio was wonderful, as was the hammock and comfy chairs provided to relax on the patio. Breakfast was a very nice buffet, and everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Not too difficult to find if you don't panic - from San Ramon, continue through La Fortuna toward the Lake.
