Guanacaste and the Nicoya Peninsula Restaurants

Dragonfly Bar & Grill

  • Eclectic

Updated 04/14/2014

Fodor's Review

The minimalist natural ambience here—tree-trunk columns support a tentlike roof—is enlivened by fuchsia and lime table linens, sculptural hanging lamps, and a cool sound track. This trendy restaurant has been a perennial favorite for years. Expect a limited but enticing menu of innovative dishes like mahimahi fish cakes with citrus aioli or chilled avocado cucumber soup. Thick-cut apple pork loin is served over rosemary-infused white beans, and the homemade ravioli is stuffed with ricotta and spinach. Taxes and service are not included on the menu, and credit cards are not accepted. It's open from 6 pm, Monday to Saturday.
