Miss Edith
Miss Edith Review
Miss Edith is revered for her flavorful Caribbean cooking, vegetarian meals, and herbal teas for whatever ails you. Back in the old days, she served on her own front porch; she's since moved to more-ample surroundings on an easy-to-miss side street at the north end of town. A bit of the mystique disappeared with the move, but her made-to-order dishes—rondón (stew of vegetables and beef or fish) and spicy jerk chicken—are good no matter where they are served. You can get breakfast here (except on Sunday).

DraJ, from United States
This is a great place to eat in Cahuita. Don't expect very friendly service (they weren't unfriendly, more like indifferent), but the food is excellent. And they have vegetarian options which can be hard to come by in Costa Rica (unless all you want to eat is rice/beans/plantain)
