Rappelling

Pure Trek Canyoning. Rappel down three waterfalls and one rock wall ranging in height from 39 to 164 feet. Two guides lead small groups—10 is the maximum size—on a four-hour tour ($101) that departs at 7 am or noon to a private farm near La Fortuna, with plenty of wildlife-watching opportunities along the way. There is a bit of hiking between waterfalls and long periods of waiting for others in your group, so patience and proper shoes are a must.
