Sky Adventures Arenal Park. This adventure park on the outskirts of Arenal Volcano operates two other parks on Lake Arenal and in Monteverde. Alpine-style gondolas transport you to the site, from which you can descend via 3 km (2 miles) of ziplines, hike through the cloud forest along a series of suspended bridges, or go back the way you came, on the tram. You'll pass from rain forest into cloud forest, and can fly above the treetops on Costa Rica's highest zipline. Adrenaline-seekers might opt for biking, canyoning, or tubing back to base camp. You can mix and match tours for a full-day adventure, too. 26 km (16 miles) west of La Fortuna, El Castillo, Arenal Volcano National Park, Alajuela, 21007. 2479–4100; 844/486–6759; www.skyadventures.travel.
