Fodor's Review

Robert's Grove is one of the most complete resorts in Belize with kayaks, windsurfers, small sailboats, a nicely equipped gym, and boats for diving with whale sharks. Or you can simply or swim in one of the three beachside pools. The resort has a dive center, marina, and two private cayes, Bob's Caye and Ranguana Caye, for picnics or overnight stays. New owners (who also operate the nearby Singing Sands) have been reshaping, expanding, and upgrading the resort. In 2013,

a new 67-foot vessel, the Placencia Princess, which carries up to 80 for dinner or 100 for sunset cocktail cruises, was added. There are three restaurants, the main hotel restaurant with a seaside setting, Habanero at the marina on the lagoon side—check out the huge plastic cacti, lit in orange and gree at night—and Sweet Mama's, a Belizean-style eatery.
