The Inn at Robert's Grove Review

The Inn at Robert's Grove's founders Bob and Risa Frackman sold the hotel in late 2010, and new owners (who also operate the nearby Singing Sands) appear to be gradually reshaping and upgrading the resort while maintaining the elements that made this one of the top spots in Belize. Still, many of the long-time Robert's Grove staffers have moved on, including the award-winning chef and the hotel manager. This remains one of the most complete resorts in Belize. You can play tennis, use the hotel's kayaks, windsurfers, and small sailboats, work out in Placencia's only fully equipped gym, charter one of resort's big new boats, or swim in the sea or in one of the three beachside pools. The hotel has a dive center, marina, and two private cayes, Bob's Caye and Ranguana Caye, for picnics or overnight stays. In-season rates range from BZ$378 double for a standard room to BZ$920 double for a first-floor two-bedroom suite (rates plus 19% tax and service). There are two restaurants, the main Seaside Restaurant and Habanero. The meal plan (all meals) is BZ$154 per person plus 22.5% tax and service.
