Owned by a prominent Belize City family, the Roes, Hidden Valley Inn sits on 7,200 acres and has more than a dozen waterfalls, at least two private caves, and 90 mi (150 km) of hiking and mountain biking trails. The estate grounds, including the waterfalls, are exclusively for guests and not open to the public. Romantics can enjoy a catered champagne lunch at their own private waterfall. All the cottages have mahogany furnishings, tile floors, and brick fireplaces. Renovated deluxe cottages have an outdoor rock shower and claw-foot tubs in the bathroom, plus a patio.
