Orchid Garden Eco-Village Review
A friendly, hardworking, and promotion-minded couple from Taiwan runs this little hotel and budding eco-complex on the Western Highway. It's convenient to most of the attractions near Belize City while being away from the city's sketchier vibes. Besides 18 simple but clean rooms, Orchid Garden has several gardens and mini-museums, including a mushroom house and an ecology display. An overnight package includes room, two meals (vegetarian meals are an option), plus a bird or jungle walk, for BZ$396 double occupancy. Longer packages include tours, transfers, and meals.
