Opened by two thirtysomething friends in 2004, this affordable, laid-back restaurant serves delicious home-style Turkish food. The menu changes daily, but always features a variety of soups and stewed vegetables, as well as more substantial dishes like zucchini fritters and meatballs in tomato sauce. The red-tiled open kitchen is a hive of constant activity, which occasionally spills into the dining area, so don't be surprised to find one of the cooks shelling peas or peeling an eggplant at the table next to you. The Sunday brunch buffet ($12) is an excellent value and highly recommended.
