Fodor's Review

Next to Central Station, this modern center for the business traveler is the perfect choice for travelers seeking cool design. The hotel focuses on simplicity, and, not surprisingly, light plays an important role, with responsive sound-and-movement systems in the lobby and multiple light settings, including light-therapy treatment, in the rooms. Rooms are a mix of dark wood, gray flannel, and black-and-white tile, with adjustable spotlights in the ceiling.

Hip and Central

This place is reasonably priced and very centrally located. Rooms are efficient and like the lobby, done entirely in black and white. Good breakfast/bar.

Swedish, Sexy, Cool

Stayed at Nordic Sea in March 03. Smaller rooms than the States of course, but beautifully appointed and centrally located. Great lobby bar, as well as gimmick-y Ice Bar.

Stockholm Stylin'

Had a good time at the Nordic Sea Hotel. Rooms are small, but if you're used to travelling throughout Europe, this is no issue. The classic Nordic design and streamlined, utilitarian feel was really cool. It's not a cushy, overstuffed hotel. It's a hotel for those who dig style, vibe and atmosphere and are willing to experience something different.

Pretty ok

I like the Nordic Hotels. I have not stayed at Nordic Light but at the Nordic Sea Hotel. It is very cosy with marine colours and a lot of light wooden furniture. Very nice beds and great breakfast but their Cosmopolitans from the lobby bar are among the worst I've ever had.
