An acclaimed international music event, this festival is held every year in August. Since its inception, in 1961, it has attracted such performers as Mstislav Rostropovich, Jessye Norman, the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, the Camerata Köln, and the Alban Berg Quartet. Concerts are held in the cloister of the Convent of Sant Domingo.
