Inside the beautiful 18th-century Palacio del Conde de Lumiares, MUBAG—as it's best known—has some 500 works of art ranging from the 16th to the early 20th century. MUBAG is within a short walk of the Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Alicante (MACA), also free entry, which features 20th-century works by Miró, Dalí, and Picasso, among others.
