Fodor's Expert Review Born in Scotland

This family-friendly complex is built around a café and brewery producing Born in the Borders beer. The café serves breakfast and lunch while a shop sells the on-site brewed beer as well as gin from its "ginnery," where visitors can learn about how gin is made and sample a gin-and-tonic after a tour (£5). The area surrounding the brewery was once a farm, and today there are a multitude of activities meant to attract families, including grass sledding, rollerblading, and an adventure playground.
