Willow Tearoom Review

This Sauchiehall Street eatery takes up part of a department store originally designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The original tearoom is now reduced to a gallery at the back of a Mackintosh-themed jewelry and gift shop, but it retains his trademark furnishings, including high-back chairs with elegant lines and subtle curves. The St. Andrew's Platter is an exquisite selection of trout, salmon, and prawns. Scottish and Continental breakfasts are available throughout the day, and the scrambled eggs with salmon is traditional Scots food at its finest. The in-house baker guarantees fresh scones, cakes, and pastries.
