Fodor's Review

Compared with the bright-yellow entrance hall, the rooms in this hotel are rather plain. But its location—on a quiet residential street only a block from the Charles Rennie Mackintosh–designed Glasgow School of Art—is prime, and the rates are reasonable. There are plenty of restaurants and bars on nearby Sauchiehall Street, and the friendly staff is more than happy to help you choose one.

Can We Keep this a Secret?

What a treat! The Victorian is clean and neat and the room rate is great. It may be a little dowdy but the location is good and the front desk help out of this world. Close to shopping, restaurants and the Glasgow School of Art. I'll be back.
