Overlooking the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, this quaint, casual eatery has a spectacular view as well as an impressive menu. It's usually quite crowded, so don't expect much intimacy. The food is served tapas-style in small dishes—the idea is that you get to try lots of different flavors. Chili-flavored king prawns, chicken cooked with lime, and aloo saag dosa (potato and spinach stuffed in a rice-and-lentil pancake) are all rich in flavor and presentation. The popular café doesn't accept reservations, so be prepared for a (fast-moving) line. It's worth bringing your own wine; there's a small corkage charge.
