The only five-star hotel in the city draws celebrity guests, and the regal purple corridors, lined with copies of Dutch masterpieces, and bright spacious rooms fitted out with luxuriously huge beds will make you feel like a member of the glitterati yourself. On the first 14 floors of the Millennium tower, smack opposite Centraal Station, this is primarily a business hotel, and executive rooms on the upper floors have free access to the 10th-floor Executive Lounge. The panorama across town makes the extra rates for rooms from the fourth floor up more than worth it, with many looking out over the Erasmus Bridge and the skyline (both dramatically floodlighted after dark).
