Latvian cuisine includes elements found in both Russian and German cuisines; it has less of a Scandinavian influence than that of some of the other countries in the region. Menus offer seasonal produce but are often heavy on wild game and pork. Both food and drink tend to be significantly cheaper than those in other European destinations. Restaurant bills may include service; if not, tip about 10%.
