A great favorite with Perugia's university students, it is fun, crowded, and inexpensive. You may find yourself seated at a long table with other diners, but some language help from your neighbors could come in handy—the menu is in pure Perugian dialect. The fixed-price meals change with the season, and each day of the week brings some new creation dal cocco (from the "coconut," or head) of the chef.
