Dal Mi' Cocco Review

A great favorite with Perugia's university students is fun, crowded, and inexpensive. You may find yourself seated at a long table with other diners, but some language help from your neighbors could come in handy—the menu is in pure Perugian dialect. The fixed-price meals change with the season, and each day of the week brings some new creation dal cocco (from the "coconut," or head) of the chef.

    The real Perugia

    This is not the best choice for a romantic dinner or to discover the last trends in international cuisine, but it's perfect for an evening with friends to eat plates from Umbria in a very reasonable price. It's close to the university and it's one of favorite place for international students community of Perugia. I usually go there with students of Comitato Linguistico, a school to study italian language as a foreigner.
