Due Mori Review

Although this inn dates from the 18th century, the interior is severely minimalist—rooms 7, 8, 11, and 12 redress the balance with picture-perfect views of the upper castle, while other windows look out onto the city walls or olive tree–filled terraces. There's a restaurant downstairs. Rates vary according to season, and considerable advance booking is required for the weekend of the chess game.

That's a place where staff really wants to make a good job

I disagree with the cons written by fodors on Due Mori in Marostica. The fee for parking is only for some kind of rooms (the cheapest). If you reserve a nicer room you have got free parking lot and garage. The staff is the main point. They know your name, they wnt to talk to you. They feel bad when they can't help you. Really nice persons. Authentic place.
