One of the trendier restaurants in Padua, La Finestra is cozy yet elegant. The carefully prepared and creatively presented dishes may not always stick to tradition, but no one can claim that owners Carlo Vidali and Hélène Dao don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. Try their wonderful black bean soup with ginger, prawns, and sour cream—it's heavenly—followed by seared tuna with saffron and onions, or a more traditional beef tagliata (sliced steak) with
rosemary. The service is attentive and helpful.
