Porto Roca Review
Far from the madding crowds, Cinque Terre's only "high-end" hotel is perched on the famous terraced cliffs right over the main beach and magnificent sea, with large balconies to savor all the panoramic views; inside, decor is more than a bit dowdy and, replete with flowered wallpapers and faux antiques, seems to have little changed from the 1960s. With its old-fashioned touch, the hotel features a tranquil cliffside solarium. Happily, there is also a nice restaurant serving well-prepared Ligurian cuisine.
